Artist's Comments

The cover to my children's picture book 'The Bewitching Night'. Lilith (the girl), Lou (the cat), and a moth. I won't say much about the story, but I've spent so much time on this piece and the other three in my gallery, it's insane. I really love the way they came out, though. Hopefully I will get some nice rejection letters from the publishers XDD

These pictures are a lot darker, in tone, than my normal style. They were definitely a learning experience, and I think I came a long ways in making a professional looking picture with this whole process. I know it'll reflect in my hopefully up and coming personal projects. I have not worked *literally* on anything personal beyond the inked Zephyr drawing (The Catalyst). It's killing me. Thank god the semester is winding down and I can work on stuff for myself and kick out some commissions ^^
